Butter, onions, garlic, heavy cream, broccoli, carrots, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, nutmeg, cheddar cheese, and vegetable broth.

lOADED WITH A CREAMY BASE, TONS OF CHEESE, AND VEGGIES!

In a soup pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add in the onions and garlic. 

Cook for 5 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream. 

Reduce the heat to medium-low to prevent the cream from curdling.  Then, add in the broccoli. 

Then, stir in the shredded carrot and simmer 10 minutes. 

Add in 1 cup vegetable broth, or up to 2 cups to thickness you prefer. 

Then stir in the nutmeg, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.  Stir together until combined. 

Stir in the shredded cheese and cook until it has melted.  4 to 5 minutes. 

Lastly, taste and add additional salt and black pepper before serving if desired.
