BREAD PUDDING WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS

Serve this simple bread pudding as the perfect sweet treat that is easy and yet perfect for serving guests any time!

prep: 15 minutes Rest: 30 minutes cook: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:  Bread, Eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, chocolate chips, and raisins

Cut bread into 1" cubes then spread evenly across the bottom of your prepared baking dish.  This is best when using stale bread.

Then whip up the custard to go over the top. 

Top with raisins and chocolate chips if desired.

Then, bake for 20 minutes or until the custard is set and the top is golden brown.

Serve this topped with fresh fruit, powdered sugar, syrup, or whipped cream.  It's ideal for dessert but can be a sweet breakfast too!
