This tasty sweet roll recipe is perfect for a different take on breakfast rolls!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Blueberries, lemon, sugar, cornstarch, yeast, flour, water, egg, milk, butter, salt, and powdered sugar.
Mix the blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, and cornstarch together and set it aside. Melt the butter and heat the milk and water.
Whisk the dry ingredients together, then begin adding in the wet mixture 1/3 at a time until all incorporated. Add additional flour if needed to form a dough.
Let the dough sit for 10 minutes then roll out, brush with butter, and top with the berry filling. Roll it into a log shape then cut into rolls.
Place the roll sin a baking dish and let them rise for one hour before baking until golden brown then topping with a simple lemon glaze.
These are best served hot from the oven with a drizzle of glaze over the top. A fun spin on breakfast sweet rolls!
