A layer of chocolate cake, strawberry filling, and a berry cream topping creates the perfect dessert.
This easy to make dessert has layers of delicious chocolate cake, a simple strawberry gelatin filling, and a light and flavorful strawberry whipped cream!
In a saucepan, heat the butter and chocolate until melted.
Then stir in the cream whisking constantly until combined.
Whisk in the egg yolks, being careful to not let them scramble.
Then add in the flour and cocoa powder. Stir until combined then set it aside.
In a large bowl, beat the egg whites and sugar until fluffy.
Then, fold the chocolate into the egg whites and pour into the prepared pan to bake.
In a saucepan, melt the white chocolate with cream and then add strawberry gelatin and combine.
Beat whipped cream until peaks form, then stir in the strawberry jam.
Make an indent on top of the cake and fill with the gelatin then chill for 1 hour.
Spread the whipped cream over the cake to coat all the sides well.
Serve this cake topped with additional berries and shaved chocolate for a delicious dessert any weeknight!
