These easy taquitos are the perfect snack! An easy and delicious recipe that is ready in minutes!
INGREDIENTS Ground beef Taco seasoning Salsa Water Cheddar cheese Corn tortillas Oil for frying
PREP TIME: 5 minutes COOK TIME: 30 minutes
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, or until no longer pink and cooked through.
Once the beef is done cooking, add in the salsa, taco seasoning, and water. Stir this well, then continue cooking for another 3 to 4 minutes, until the liquid has evaporated.
Add cheese to the middle of the tortilla, then top with a spoon of cooked beef. Then roll and secure it with a toothpick.
Place the tortillas in hot oil and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, turning so all sides are golden brown. Once cooked, remove and drain on paper towels.
Serve these taquitos with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole and extra lime wedges on the side. Add this to any Mexican entree or serve as an easy lunch!
