NUTELLA DOUGHNUTS

A homemade yeast dough is deep fried, then rolled in sugar and filled with chocolate hazelnut deliciousness for a perfect bite!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:  All-purpose flour Water Sugar Dry yeast Salt Egg Milk Butter Nutella Oil for frying

Combine flour and water in saucepan and cook until thickened, then refrigerate. 

Now, combine flour, sugar, yeast, salt, egg, milk, and the paste to form a dough. 

Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until double in size. 

Roll the doughnut dough out to 1/4" thickness to cut into circles. 

Cut out the donuts then fry them in hot oil for 2 to 3 minutes per side. 

Drain the cooked donuts on paper towels as soon as they are removed from the pan. 

Roll the donuts into sugar until coated on all sides. 

Then, cut a hole in one side of the donut, and use a piping bag to fill it with Nutella. 

These Nutella filled doughnuts are a decadent treat that is perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a rich dessert!
