The perfect sweet treat to start the day is loaded with chocolate! Cornflakes add a perfect crunchy outside!

INGREDIENTS

Sliced white bread, milk chocolate, eggs, cornflakes cereal, and oil for frying.  Choose milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate for stuffing this bread.

The perfect combination of textures and rich chocolate in every bite!

Cut each slice of bread into a circle and discard the crusts. 

Cut and prep bread:

Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices out evenly. 

Place a piece of chocolate on the center of 3 rounds. Then brush the edges with eggwash. 

Stuff the bread:

Cover each round with a second piece of bread and crimp the edges. 

Dip each stuffed round first into egg, then into crushed cornflakes until coated.

Cook the bread:

Cook in hot oil over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes per side just until golden brown and crispy. 

Once cooked, serve alone or topped with fresh cream and berries. A perfect combination of richness and textures for breakfast or a fast dessert!

Serve hot!
