2 tbsp oil 1/4 head cabbage 1/4 lb potatoes 1/2 lb ground beef 1.5 tbsp tomato paste 1/2 tsp Worcestershire 1/2 tsp thyme 1/2 cup water 1/4 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp salt 1 pie crust
Heat oil in large skillet and cook the cabbage and potatoes until beginning to brown then remove and set aside.
Cook the ground meat until no longer pink then add the tomato paste, thyme, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and simmer.
Add the potatoes and cabbage back to the skillet with 1/2 cup water and bring to a boil then simmer until potatoes are tender.
Roll out the pie crust or biscuits and cut into circles. Fill the dough with a heaping spoon of beef mixture then fold over and crimp the edges.
Cut 2-3 slits in the top of each pie and then bake at 400F for 12-15 minutes until golden brown on top.
