FRIED EGGPLANT BLOSSOM

This tasty side dish or appetizer is ideal for serving as a snack or as part of an appetizer buffet with tasty sauces for dipping!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Eggplant Cornstarch Egg Breadcrumbs Sesame seeds Oil for frying  Dipping sauces such as ketchup, ranch dressing, or BBQ sauce

Peel the eggplant and slice into 1/2" strips, leaving the root intact. 

Dredge the eggplant  in cornstarch coating all sides and between slices. 

Now coat the eggplant in egg making sure to get between each slice. 

Now, coat with breadcrumbs and sprinkle with sesame seeds. 

Heat oil in a large skillet and place the eggplant into it to cook. 

Fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden brown all over. 

This is the perfect appetizer for sharing.  Serve with some ketchup, ranch dressing, or even sriracha may for dipping!
