Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2 minutes then drop into an ice bath and set aside.
Cut the chicken into cubes then season. In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter and cook the chicken for 3 to 5 minutes until browned.
Remove the chicken from the pan, deglaze with chicken broth then add in hot sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and parsley and simmer until reduced.
Add the chicken and asparagus back to the reduced broth mixture and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
