GARLIC CHEESE BREAD BOMBS

A simple homemade yeast dough is stuffed with cheese and brushed with garlic herb butter then baked until golden on top.

prep: 15 minutes cook: 15 minutes rest: 45 minutes

As a snack, appetizer, or side dish with marinara for dipping, these cheese stuffed rolls are sure to be a hit!

INGREDIENTS:  Water Yeast Sugar Oil Egg Flour Cheese Butter Garlic powder Garlic paste Oregano Parsley Salt Parmesan

Stir together the water, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, and oil with 1 cup of flour. Rest 15 minutes.

Add the remaining flour then turn the dough out onto lightly floured surface.

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until a smooth elastic dough forms. 

Transfer to a bowl and cover loosely then let it rest for 30 minutes. 

After 30 minutes, divide the dough into 6 or more pieces. 

Flatten each round and add dough then fold over edges and pinch. 

Whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, garlic paste, and herbs. 

Place rolls seam side down into the baking dish and brush with 3/4 the butter mixture.

Bake for 15 minutes then brush the tops with the remaining herb garlic butter.  They are best served hot with marinara for dipping.
