Skip the donut shop and make homemade apple fritters in just 30-minutes!
Peel, core, and dice the apples into 1/2" or smaller pieces.
Add the apples to a bowl with lemon juice to prevent browning then set them aside.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
Then fold the apples into the dough.
Scoop dough into hot oil and fry for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden then drain on paper towels.
Whisk the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla together to create glaze.
Once the fritters have cooled, drizzle with glaze then serve! Delicious served warm!
