This easy to make donut recipe is fried until golden then dipped in a simple glaze for the perfect sweet breakfast treat!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, butter, milk, eggs, vanilla, blueberries, and powdered sugar.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In a separate bowl whisk togetehr the eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Stir the melted butter into the dry mixture and stir until it is all incorporated.
Then add in the rest of the wet mixture and stir.
Stir until all of the wet ingredients are incorporated.
Then fold in the blueberries until combined.
Roll the dough out on a clean floured surface until 1/4" to 1/3" thick.
Then use a cookie cutter or donut cutter to cut the dough into rounds. Set aside the donut holes.
Fry the donuts until cooked through and golden brown.
Remove and set aside to drain and continue frying the donuts until all have been cooked.
Make a simple glaze then dip the donuts into it to coat one side.
