Make your own creamy homemade marshmallow fluff with simple ingredients you already have on hand!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: – 1/3 cup water – 3/4 cup granulated sugar – 3/4 cup light corn syrup – 3 egg whites – 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add the egg whites and cream of tartar to a bowl then set aside. Next, combine the rest of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until it has reached the soft ball stage. Remove from heat immediately.
Now, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form, then drizzle in the boiled sugar mixture beating until incorporated. Continue until doubled in volume.
This marshmallow fluff is easy to make and perfect for a last minute treat to spread over crackers or in a "fluffernutter" sandwich!
