Make a simple homemade crust and stuff with cheese for the ideal pizza night with the kids!

INGREDIENTS

Water, sugar, yeast, flour, salt, olive oil, string cheese, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, butter, Italian herbs, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and oregano

Combine the yeast, water, and sugar in a bowl and let stand for 8 minutes. 

Prepare the dough:

In a large bowl combine the flour, olive oil, and yeast mixture.  Stir until dough forms.

Cover the dough in an oiled bowl and let rise for 1 hour and 30-minutes.

Let dough rise

Then punch down and put on a clean floured surface.

Roll the dough out to fit your chosen pizza pan, making sure you have enough to fold over the cheese.

Build the pizza

Transfer the dough, then put cheese along the edge and cover with dough.

Brush the edges with herbed butter then spread pizza sauce on the center. 

Top the pizza

Top with 1/2 the cheese, the veggies, then remaining cheese before baking. 

Bake the pizza until it is golden brown and the cheese is melted.  Serve alone or with favorite sides!
