A delicious cookies and cream layered cake that is easy to make and looks incredible!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, vegetable oil, Oreo cookies, buttercream, and candy melts or almond bark
Beat together the cake mixes, pudding mix, oil, water, and eggs until smooth. Then fold in 8 chopped cookies.
Divide the batter between 2 to 4 cake pans, that have already been sprayed or greased. Bake for up to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool the cakes for 1 hour, then divide into 4 layers. While these cool, prepare the buttercream for icing the cakes.
Create a wall of icing around the outer edge of a layer, then filli nt he center with a bit of buttercream. Add a layer of cookies on top.
Repeat this creating 4 layers, then freeze for 5 minutes before adding a crumb coat around the side and top. Then freeze again for 5 minutes.
Now, add the final layer of icing, and freeze another 5 minutes. Melt the candy melts and drip around the top edge. Then decorate with additional cookies.
Decorate the top with buttercream florettes, cookies, and sprinkles before slicing to serve. Keep in an airtight container until ready to serve.
