The heat of jerk chicken elevates a basic cream sauce over pasta in this easy one pot meal.
INGREDIENTS Rigatoni Bell peppers Olive oil Chicken breasts Butter Garlic Heavy cream Jerk seasoning Garlic powder Onion powder Salt Black pepper Parmesan cheese
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and cook the peppers until tender. Then season and cook the chicken breatss 4 to 5 minutes per side until cooked through.
Next, remove the peppers and chicken and begin your cream sauce. Melt butter and whisk in the flour, then the cream, seasonings, and once thickened, parmesan cheese.
Once the cream sauce is thickened, add in the cooked pasta, peppers, and sliced cooked chicken. Toss together and taste. Add salt and pepper if needed.
Serve this pasta hot with additional cheese if desired. Dice green onions or chives and sprinkle over the top for a creamy and flavorful pasta meal!
