KEY LIME PIE

This classic pie is a perfect combination of sweet and tart with crispy graham cracker crust!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:  Egg yolks, lime zest, vanilla extract, sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, graham cracker crust, whipping cream, and powdered sugar

In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, lime zest, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk.  Once frothy, slowly stir in the lime juice. 

Pour into a prepared crust and then bake for 10 to 12 minutes to set.  Once baked, let it cool for 30 minutes before refrigerating until time to serve. 

When ready to serve the pie, make your whipped cream by whipping heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form. 

Pipe whipped cream onto the top of each slice before serving.  Sprinkle with lime zest or a slicer of lime as a garnish!
