INGREDIENTS Butter Sugar Vanilla Egg Salt Baking soda Cream of tartar Flour Matcha powder Cinnamon

In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 

Beat in the vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste and the egg until smooth.

Sift the remaining dry ingredients into the bowl and beat just until a dough forms.  Scape the sides of the bowl and stir to combine all. 

Scoop the dough into balls then roll those balls in cinnamon sugar before placing on a baking sheet and pressing down slightly before baking. 

Bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes until golden on the bottom and set in the center.  Sprinkle additional sugar on top while still hot then let cool before serving.
