Fall in love with the semi-homemade deliciousness of cherry cream cheese danishes!

INGREDIENTS

Pizza dough or crescent rolls, flour, cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, cherry pie filling For glaze:  Powdered sugar, milk

A simple and easy breakfast or dessert that takes minutes to prepare!

Roll the dough into a log and cut into rounds approximately 1"-2" wide. 

Prepare the dough:

Place the dough rounds on the baking sheet and create a well in the center of each. 

Combine the softened cream cheese with sugar, vanilla, and mix until creamy. 

Prepare the filling:

This takes around 1 minute using a hand mixer but can be done by hand.

Add 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture to the center of each round.

Fill the pastry:

Then top each with cherry pie filling. 

Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the dough is golden brown.  

Bake and glaze:

Let the danishes cool before drizzling with a simple glaze. 

These danishes are simple to make and can b e updated with any flavor pie filling you prefer!
