A simple stovetop steaming method makes this cake perfectly moist with no oven needed!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED: Cake flour Milk Sugar Cocoa powder Baking powder & baking soda Salt Eggs Vegetable oil
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Then whisk in the sugar.
Stir in the milk, eggs, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour batter into prepared cake pan then cover with foil and place on a trivet into a pan filled with hot water.
Cover with a lid and cook for 30 to 35 minutes.
While the cake cooks, whisk together the frosting ingredients into a saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
Pour icing over the cake and spread to cover.
Slice and serve the cake with a dollop of whipped cream and fresh berries! A great chocolate treat that is ready in under 1 hour!
