A spicy and sweet topping make this a perfect combination of textures to serve with crusty bread!

Creamy brie is baked to perfection and topped with sweet and spicy nuts.  The ideal sweet and savory option goes well with any crusty bread!

INGREDIENTS

Baguette or crusty bread, brie, pistachios, honey, thyme, red pepper flakes, and olive oil.  Can also be served with fruit, vegetables, or crackers. 

PISTACHIO AND HONEY BAKED BRIE

The ideal simple but upscale appetizer that is great for parties or charcuterie boards.

Slice a baguette into 1/2" pieces then drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Toast the bread:

Bake for 2 to 3 minutes per side then remove and set aside. 

Crush the pistachios and mix with honey, thyme, and red pepper flakes. 

Top the brie:

Slice the tops of the brie and drizzle with olive oil. 

Spread the top of the rounds with the pistachio mixture and a drizzle of honey. 

Bake the brie:

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until golden and the cheese is heated through.

This is ideal served with the freshly toasted baguettes, your favorite crackers, or even fresh pears and apples.
