Pork sausage adds a rich flavor that really elevates a simple fried rice to a whole new level.
INGREDIENTS Yellow onion, green onions, garlic, eggs, white rice, fish sauce, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, salt, pepper, pork sausage
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat then add in the onions and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, then add the garlic and cook an additional 1 minute.
Add the pork sausage to the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until it is sizzling and begins to brown on the edges. Then, move the pork and veggies to one side of the pan.
Add the whisked eggs to the open side of the pan and cook, stirring regularly, until nicely scrambled and almost set. Salt if desired.
Mix back with the pork and veggies, then add in the rice, soy sauce, fish sauce, sriracha, and any additional herbs desired. Stir and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve with additional fresh chopped green onions or parsley. This is a perfect fast and easy weeknight meal that everyone will enjoy!
