Wash and pat dry the broccoli and cauliflower. Cut the stem off and discard, then use a knife to cut the florets into bite sized pieces.
In a small bowl whisk together the oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, herbs de provence, salt, and black pepper.
Toss the vegetables with the herbed oil then spread in an even layer onto a prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 22 minutes at 400°F until tender and browned. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
To make in the air fryer, follow the same steps for preparing then place in an even layer in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F for 5 minutes. Toss and continue cooking for an additional 5 to 8 minutes.
