A simple homemade Alfredo sauce with a seasoned chicken breast combines two favorite cuisines!
INGREDIENTS Pasta, chicken breasts, Cajun seasoning, butter, olive oil, all-purpose flour, chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.
Combine the seasonings for the Cajun spice, and then drizzle chicken breasts with olive oil and coat in the seasoning blend.
Cook the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes per side over medium heat until cooked through. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and set aside to rest.
Into the same skillet, add additional butter, minced garlic, and all-purpose flour. Stir this to combine and break up any bits off the bottom of the pan.
To the mixture, add chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and cook until thickened.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir with sauce, then top with sliced cooked chicken breasts.
Serve this Cajun chicken Alfredo with additional sprinkle of Cajun seasoning, fresh parsley, and your favorite sides!
