Layers of pasta, cheese, and a homemade sauce create a tasty comfort food meal any weeknight!
PREP TIME: 10 minutes COOK TIME: 35 minutes
INGREDIENTS Lasagna noodles Olive oil Garlic Onion Diced tomatoes Oregano Salt Black pepper Ricotta Parsley Mozzarella Parmesan Egg
STEP 1: Saute the onion and garlic for 5 minutes in olive oil.
STEP 2: Then add the herbs and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened.
STEP 3: Combine the ricotta, mozzarella, herbs, and egg together.
STEP 4: Layer the noodles, sauce, and cheese until all is used, then top with additional cheese and bake.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let stand 15 minutes before slicing to serve. Sprinkle with additional parmesan if desired.
