THREE MEAT & CHEESE STROMBOLI

Pair frozen pizza dough with pepperoni, salami, and proscuitto to create a tasty stromboli!

INGREDIENTS

Pizza dough, pesto, pepperoni, proscuitto, salami, basil, bell peppers, mozzarella, and olive oil.  Top with fresh herbs and parmesan if desired.

Fill a simple pizza dough with tasty meats and cheeses for a great meal!

Flour a clean surface to roll out the dough. 

Prepare the dough:

Roll the thawed dough to 1/4" thickness into a rectangle.

Spread pesto sauce evenly over the top of the dough.

Top the dough:

Top the pesto with pepperoni slices.

Top the pepperoni with sliced smoked meat. 

Top the dough:

Then add a generous layer of sliced salami. 

Top the meats with sliced mozzarella cheese. 

Top the dough:

Then add a layer of bell peppers and basil. 

Fold the ends over the fillings then roll away from yourself tucking in the fillings. 

Roll the stromboli:

Once rolled, brush with olive oil and add slices on top. 

Bake for 30 minutes until golden on top.  Then rest for 10 before slicing to serve.
