Perfect Soft Cookies and Cream Cookies Recipe

This perfectly soft and delicious cookies and cream cookies recipe is a fast and easy cookie treat that is loaded with creamy flavor and bits of chocolate in every bite!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 10 OREO cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place OREO cookies into a large Ziploc bag and roll a rolling pin over the top several times to crush the cookies into small pieces and crumbs then set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until fluffy and smooth. Bowl of sugar butter and cream cheese
  4. Add in the flour and stir to combine.
  5. Fold the crushed OREO cookies into the dough.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, scoop the dough into balls and place them 2" apart on the prepared baking sheet. Cookie scoop full of cookie dough
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Rest for 5 minutes on the cookie sheet before moving to a wire rack to continue cooling.Stack of cookies and cream cookies

Notes

For flatter crisp cookies, press the balsl of dough down and chill for 30-minutes before baking. Bake for only 10-12 minutes.
