Crispy Tater Tot Waffle Sticks Recipe

Use your waffle iron to make this easy crispy tater tot waffle sticks recipe! A perfect addition to your menu!

Ingredients

  • 32-ounce tater tots, thawed (907 gm)
  • 1 tsp salt (5 gm)
  • 1 tsp black ppper (5 gm)
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle maker according to manufacturer directions. 
  2. Once hot, spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray. 
  3. Lay the tater tots onto the bottom of the waffle maker in a single layer making sure you cover most of the base. Tater tots on waffle iron
  4. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, or chosen spice blend. 
  5. Press down the waffle iron and cook for 3 minutes.  
  6. Check and press the waffle maker don more so the tater tots stick together.  
  7. Continue cooking for 7 to 8 minutes until they are at your desired crispness. Tater tot waffle in waffle iron
  8. Carefully remove from the waffle maker and season additionally, if desired.  
  9. Repeat as many times as needed.  
  10. Cut into sticks, or serve whole with your favorite dipping sauce. Waffle sticks on white saucer by ketchup bowl

Notes

  • Thaw the tater tots overnight before making these for the best results.
  • This can also be made with sweet potato tots, broccoli tots, and cauliflower tots.
