Creamy Strawberry Avocado Smoothie

This super creamy and healthy Strawberry Avocado Smoothie has just the right amount of sweetness and is the perfect post-workout smoothie! Rich with antioxidants, this will become your go-to smoothie recipe!

Ingredients

Strawberry Part of Smoothie

  • 12-15 medium strawberries
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 5 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 4 cubes of ice

Avocado Part of Smoothie

  • 2 whole avocado
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Put all the ingredients for the strawberry part of the smoothie in a blender, and blend till smooth. Pour into a two mason jars - it should reach till the half mark.
  2. Now put the ingredients for the avocado smoothie in the blender and blend it till smooth. Slowly pour it into the mason jar so that separate layers/colors of the smoothie show.
  3. Serve fresh.

Notes

1. You can use strawberry yogurt instead of plain yogurt to make the taste even better. The only thing is that strawberry yogurt found in stores usually has an artificial taste that Arvin and I don't prefer - but feel free to use it if you find a good one where you live!

2. Don't add too much yogurt to the avocado part of the smoothie has it can become too creamy to the point that it can be too much to handle. Just follow the recipe and you should be fine!

3. If you don't like using sugar, try substituting sugar with some honey - trust me it'll taste delicious!
