Authentic Cheese Antojitos Recipe

Cheese Antojitos is an easy Mexican inspired appetizer that everyone loves. Loaded with cheesy goodness and a crispy shell, these are sure to please!

Ingredients

  • 6 medium flour tortillas
  • 6oz (180g) cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F.
  2. Combine the cream cheese with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, red onion, bell pepper, sour cream, paprika, garlic powder, and red chili flakes. Then season with some salt to taste.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture over the tortillas evenly, roll each tortilla tightly and cut into 4-5 pieces at a 45-degree angle.
  4. Place each piece on top of the parchment-covered baking sheet, then bake for 8 minutes. Switch onto the broil setting and cook for 5 minutes more.

Notes

Feel free to add meat, veggies, or even different cheeses to add more flavor to your antojitos.
